Colorado Senator Mark Udall has heralded the passage of a bipartisan resolution to honor the second annual National Kids to Parks Day on May 19, when adults can model healthy, active lifestyles to children by taking them to parks. Udall introduced the resolution earlier this week.

Tell the Forest Service You Support a Trail Extension at the Grand Canyon

The Rainbow Rim Trail is a destination trail for mountain bikers around the West. The 18-mile trail takes riders through high alpine forests with five opportunities to overlook the Grand Canyon and unparalleled solitude.�Riding on a remote rim of the Grand Canyon is a unique experience, especially considering the trails in Grand Canyon National Park are closed to bicycles.

The U.S. Forest Service has proposed an extension to the Rainbow Rim Trail, which is currently going through the NEPA public process.
